WASHINGTON – Even though the author of the controversial article with the headline “The N—– in the White House”, said that it was pro-Obama, the GOP is still up in arms.
“This misuse of journalism is offensive not only to blacks, but also to the “camel jockeys” in Iraq we are trying to destroy, and the “wetbacks” we are trying to deport,” said Sen. Mitch McConnell.
WestView News’ James Lincoln Collier defended the title of his article, saying that “far right voters hate Obama because he is black.” “This story is very supportive of Obama,” he explained.
“The accusation that we as a party despise the President because of his skin color is also offensive,” said Sen. Lindsay Graham. “There are other problems we have with Obama. We don’t only hate him because he’s black!”
Fox News’ Sean Hannity weighed in on the controversial article by saying, “I am shocked by the disrespect Collier has shown to “camel jockeys”, “wetbacks”, “redskins”, “micks”, “dagos”, and “Chinamen” with the title of his article. If I didn’t know any better, I would think it was written by a woman.”
When asked if any of the members who were disgusted with the headline had actually read the article, many admitted that they had not.
“But that’s because it’s probably taken out of context,” said Boehner.
